"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will he not also, along with him graciously give us all things?" - Romans 8:32
And as I type I'm remembering verses that remind me of God's provision such as Matthew 7:7-11 when Jesus says:
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!"
So, if we humans who are blatantly sinful love our kids/family and want to give them everything, how much more will my Perfect Father give me good gifts when I ask? Now i'm not naive, I know God isn't like some indulgent dad, who gives me stuff just to stop me throwing tantrums. But I need to remember to look back on my life, on the amazing things He's done, the miracles He's provided for myself and my defenseless family, and oughtn't I to praise and trust him for what he has done and will do?! Why do I find that so hard?!
Like I said before anyway everybody should write letters. It makes me hapy gettig non-bill related post! Also received a thank you card from Julia and Jonathan, and it was like "Aw!" Actually increased my dopamine levels.
